The BBC reports that UK Methane's plan for full production of coalbed methane and shale gas at Hicks Gate as been postponed until the end of the year so that they can concentrate on their other work in south Wales and Kent.
The BBC also report that UK Methane wish to work in a "totally transparent manner" and add that they intend to also submit a planning application to test drill in Somerset, but add that they will not reveal where this would take place.
